Dot Tech Returns & Refunds Policy

At DotTech, we stand by our curated selection of premium technology. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or not as described, we are here to help.

1. Eligibility Window

You have 7 days from the date your order is delivered (as confirmed by the courier tracking) to initiate a return or exchange request.

2. Conditions for Return

For any return to be accepted, the item must meet the following mandatory conditions:

  • Original Condition: The item must be unused, unworn, and in the exact condition you received it.

  • Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all original seals, plastic wraps, protective films, manuals, accessories, and promotional materials.

  • Proof of Purchase: A copy of the receipt or proof of purchase must be included with the return.

  • No Sign of Use: The product must not have been installed, activated (if it's software or subscription-based), or tampered with.

  • Note: If the product is returned without the original packaging or essential accessories, a restocking fee may be applied, or the return may be rejected.

3. Items Exempt from Return

The following items cannot be returned due to hygiene, activation, or intellectual property reasons:

  • Items purchased during a final sale or clearance event.

  • Software products once their sealed packaging has been opened or the product has been activated/registered.

  • In-ear headphones/earbuds due to hygiene concerns.

  • Gift cards.

4. Return Process in Pakistan (Initiation & Inspection)

  • Initiate Request: To start a return, please email our support team at sales@DotTech.pk with your Order Number, the Item Name, and the Reason for Return.

  • Approval & Shipment: Once your request is approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions. The customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with the return unless the product was defective or an incorrect item was shipped.

  • Mandatory Inspection: All returned items are subject to a thorough inspection by the Dot Tech Quality Assurance team upon receipt.

  • Inspection Timeline: This process can take 3 to 5 working days.

  • Final Confirmation: Once the inspection is complete and the item is verified to meet the return conditions (Section 2), we will proceed with the refund or exchange.

  • Processing: 24-48 working hours.

  • Delivery: 4-5 working days in major cities and 5-10 working days in other areas.

5. Refunds

  • Payment Method: If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10-15 working days (depending on bank processing times).

  • COD Refunds: For orders originally paid via Cash on Delivery (COD), the refund will be issued via bank transfer (IBAN) or an alternative secure digital payment method. You will be required to provide accurate bank account details for this purpose.

6. Exchanges (Replacement)

  • If you are requesting an exchange for a defective item, we will ship the replacement product to you after the original item has been received and successfully inspected (Section 4).

  • If the replacement product is out of stock, we will issue a full refund.

  • Processing: 24-48 working hours.

  • Delivery: 4-5 working days in major cities and 5-10 working days in other areas.

7. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will cover the cost of return shipping for any confirmed defective or incorrect products.
